Bosch SC coast to victory

Cricket KSCA league: Kishore stars in 6-wicket win over Dell Cricket Club

 Nanda Kishore put up a solid performance with bat and ball to guide Bosch Sports Club to a comfortable six-wicket victory over Dell Cricket Club in the KSCA Group II (Division II) tournament here.

Helped by Girish’s 62, Dell CC managed 177 for seven in 29 overs. Kishore shone with the ball bagging two wickets for 43 runs. Kishore then returned to slam an unbeaten 53 as Bosch SC knocked off the target in 28.5 overs.

Batsmen spur Silky Town
A strong batting performance from Silky Town Cricket Club, Channapatna, led by KS Chandrashekar Murthy (144), helped them beat MES College by a huge margin of 347 runs in the KSCA Group I (Division V) tournament for JB Mallaradhya Trophy here.

Silky Town CC piled up 431 for eight in 50 overs thanks to Chandrashekar’s ton. Shah Mudassir Nizamil (58), Mubharak Khan (63) and Syed Parvez (51) gave fine support to the centurion. In reply, MES College batsmen failed to put up a fight and were bundled out for a paltry 84 in 29.1 overs. Maqdoom Hussain shone with the ball as he claimed four for four runs for the winning team
