A BJP legislature party meeting on Monday decided to take the Congress government head-on on various issues including irregularities in Arkavathi Layout denotification, controversy over Karnataka Public Service Commission appointments, eviction of small-time farmers from forest land.
At the BJPLP meeting chaired by former chief minister Jagadish Shettar, it was decided that the BJP should spare no effort to corner the State government during the 10-day legislature session.Increase in rate of crime in the State, irregularities in purchase of electric meters, lapses in allocation of tenders for coal transportation, resignation drama of excise minister Satish Jarkiholi and the government’s failure to deal with the Kasturirangan report on Western Ghats are other issues which the BJP will take up on the floor of the house.
