After their successful debut, the two are once again back together on screen in the forthcoming release Phhir, which is also produced and headed by Vikram Bhatt. But that’s not all, the film will also mark the Bollywood debut of popular TV actress Roshni Chopra, for the first time on the silver screen.
Roshni will be seen playing Rajneesh’s wife who disappears mysteriously while Adah, essays the role of a clairvoyant who helps Rajneesh find his wife.
Phhir is an intriguing suspense-cum-love story directed by Girish Dhamija, who has written scripts and dialogues for movies like Kasoor, Raaz, Zakhm, Dushman and Ghulam.
This movie, like 1920 has also been shot in the exotic landscapes of New Castle.
Talking about casting the couple again, Vikram Bhatt says, “Adah and Rajneesh performed far ahead of my expectations in 1920.”
“It was an impulsive decision to cast the two once again. They are not exactly paired together in Phhir, but their characters share a deep connection,” he adds.
“More than anything, both of them suit the characters perfectly,” says Vikram Bhatt.
“Adah’s character is very complex and after seeing her brilliant performance in my movie 1920, I couldn’t think of taking anyone else,” he adds.
“Roshni is also a talented actress and I wish her all the best with her film debut,” explains Vikram Bhatt.
