6 IPS officers fail to submit property details

A total of six IPS officers, two IFS officers and four KAS officers have not submitted the details of their immovable properties and liabilities to the State government.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah disclosed this while answering questions by Vadnal Rajanna in the Assembly on Tuesday. The member had sought details of the IAS, IPS, IFS and KAS officers who have submitted/not submitted the details of their assets in 2011, 2012 and 2013.

Siddaramaiah said in 2011, Sanjay Sahay (IPS), Muttaiah (IFS, now under suspension), K P Honakeri and M Shashidhar (KAS) had not submitted the details. Sahay and Muttaiah had not furnished the information in 2012 and 2013 also. Names of Devajyothi Roy (IPS) and Rajamma A Chowda Reddy (KAS) also figure in the list for 2012. Other officers who have not submitted the details in 2013 are:Malini Krishnamurthy (IPS), IFS officers Manoj Shukla (under suspension and in judicial custody); Pawar Parveen Madhukar, Umesh Kumar and Vartika Katiyar. The KAS officers are:Honakeri, M Shashidar  (unauthorised absence), Roopakala (unauthorised absence) and Rajamma.
