Anne Frank - A History for Today’, an exhibition, is on till February 15, from 10 am to 5 pm, at The Bangalore International School, Geddalahalli, Hennur, Bagalur road, Kothanur Post.

The exhibition is organised by the Anne Frank House, Amsterdam, Consulate General of Israel in Bengaluru and Ever After in Bengaluru to mark the ‘International Holocaust Remembrance Day’.

On display are 32 panels of black and white photographs. Some of the photographs show Anne with her friends, Anne’s parents’ wedding pictures, two-year-old Anne with her sister Margot, Ann in her classroom and her secret space where they would hide. The travelling exhibition places the story of Anne Frank against the backdrop of the Second World War and the Holocaust.

The heart of the exhibition consists of quotations from Anne Frank’s diary and the Frank family photographs. This is accompanied by personal narratives about the consequences of discrimination and persecution.

Relevant even today, the Anne Frank exhibition forms the backdrop of educational activities involving students and teachers in the City.
