<p>Lokayukta police arrested a Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) employee red-handed while accepting bribe from another government employee. <br /><br /></p>.<p>The complainant is Faizi, First Division Assistant at the office of Ramanagar Zilla Panchayat.<br /><br />Police said Faizi had written an internal examination (SAS Part-2) and was awaiting the result. To convey the examination result, Siddaiah, Section Officer KPSC, demanded a bribe of Rs 10,000.<br /><br />A senior police official said Siddaiah had demanded the bribe on Monday morning and Faizi immediately lodged a complaint. A trap was laid and the accused was arrested while accepting the bribe in the afternoon<br /></p>
