1 killed, 6 hurt in mishap at Thallur

The deceased has been identified as Nagaraj (30), Maxi cab driver and a resident of Beejadi. The maxicab had 17 girls who were on their way to work in plastic factory at Koteshwara. Owing to the accident, the movement of vehicles were disrupted for one hour.

Kerala police have arrested a person in connection with the burglary of a house at Sri Subhashchandra Shetty in Hosabettu on October 28.

The arrested has been identified as Vikas Godaji Chauhan (23), a resident of Ahmmednagar. Police have seized 40 grams gold. On interrogation, he revealed names of other accused. They are Chalya Gopinath Chauhan, Somanath Pimpli, Hanuman Pimpli, Arun Chauhan, Gandla Chouhan, Tingu Kali Baba Saheb Shankar.

The team were involved in several robbery cases in Gujrath, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Maharashtra.
