JOIN USThe State government has, on Saturday, issued an order transferring 114 KAS officers. The transfers will come into effect after the completion of byelection process for three Legislative Council seats. Counting of votes for the bypoll is scheduled on August 26.
Following are the officers who have been transferred to important posts: S Palaiah, Commissioner, Mysore City Corporation; Rajamma A Chowdi Reddy, Secretary, Bangalore Development Authority; Rajendra Prasad, Assistant Commissioner, Bangalore north taluk; K S Venkateshappa, Additional Commissioner, Department of Public Instruction; Mahesh Babu, Assistant Commissioner, Bangalore north; S M Gangadharaiah, Additional Commissioner, Bangalore Urban district; B Rajanna, Director, Planning, BWSSB; B S Patri, Revenue Department, Bangalore; A Chandrashekarappa, Railway projects, Bangalore.
