Secretary of Kannada and Culture Department B R Jayaramaraje Urs who also called on the octogenarian actor conveyed that the State government has promised to meet the medical expenditure.<br /><br />Opposition leader Siddaramaiah, journalist Patil Puttappa, Prof Kalegowda Nagawara and film producer Sa Ra Govindu visited him at the hospital, while MLA and Parliamentary Secretary to CM S A Ramdas and former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda enquired about his health over phone.
