Boy sodomised

A 10-year-old boy was sodomised by his neighbour in Islampura in HAL police limits on Wednesday night.

According to police, the accused has been identified as Mohammed Rafique, 25, a resident of Islampura and a daily wage labourer. On Wednesday night, Rafique dragged the boy behind his house and sexually abused him when the victim’s father had gone to a nearby shop.

The father came back from the shop and noticed his son crying with his clothes torn. When the boy narrated the incident to him, he informed the police. The boy was sent for medical examination. Rafique has been arrested.
