Timberlake, Aguilera to perform at 'Hope for Haiti'

Oscar-winning actor George Clooney has confirmed while speaking at the Golden Globe Awards that singers Alicia Keys and Sting will also be performing at the 'Hope for Haiti' concert, Aceshowbiz reported.

Songs performed by the participating artists will be made be available for digital purchase with all proceeds going to the relief effort.
The global telethon will be held on January 22 and is aimed "to show the people of Haiti that the whole world is paying attention."
Clooney will be hosting the Los Angeles-based concert, rapper Wyclef Jean will be presenting from New York while American journalist Anderson Cooper will be hosting from Haiti.
More than 40 celebrities are expected to attend the show which is set to be aired by a number of TV stations in a commercial-free broadcast.

John Travolta arranges plane for Haiti aid
London: Hollywood star John Travolta has arranged a plane to fly aid to the victims of the devastating earthquake which has left hundreds dead or injured.
The 'Pulp Fiction' star, who is a qualified pilot, acted quickly to organise the help for the Caribbean country which was devastated by the natural disaster last Tuesday.
The actor is hoping that others will follow his example, Contactmusic reported.
"I have arranged for a plane to take down some volunteer ministers and some supplies and some medics. I hope that inspires others as well. It's needed," Travolta said.
The 55-year-old actor is one of many A-list stars who are helping Haiti.
