JOIN USShreyal K Telang bagged a fine double, emerging champion in the men’s and youth boy’s categories on the final day of the State-ranking table tennis tournament here on Sunday.
In the men’s summit clash, Shreyal registered a hard-fought 8-11, 12-10, 11-3, 11-8, 11-8, 8-11, 11-7 victory over Anirban Roy Choudhary. In the youth boys’ final, Shreyal defeated junior boys champion Rakshith RB 11-4, 11-5, 11-9, 11-9.
In the women’s final, Spoorthy MV beat Swetha K 15-12, 9-11, 14-12, 6-11, 11-9, 5-11, 11-9.
