The CET results have been announced after a week's delay, bringing respite to anxious students. But, several students who have applied for revaluation are awaiting their revised results.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has allayed their fears stating that for all those candidates who may be assigned fresh scores based on revaluation, fresh ranks will be allotted as soon as the revaluation results are published. The results of revaluation are scheduled to be announced on June 14.

In an official release, the KEA said that the Department of Pre University Education would send the revised marks to KEA as and when the results of revaluation are announced. Also, the candidates need not approach the KEA with revised marks, the officials said.

Grace marks

For all students, the department has allotted some grace marks in CET 2015, on account of certain errors in the question paper. Three grace marks have been awarded for the biology paper, two each for physics, mathematics and one for chemistry.

Helpline centres

The KEA will conduct verification of documents ahead of the admission process and this will commence at 12 helpline centres on June 5. Helpline centres have been set up in Bengaluru, Davangere, Ballari, Raichur, Kalaburagi, Vijayapura, Belagavi, Dharwad, Karwar, Mangaluru, Shivamogga, Hassan and Mysuru. The candidates have been requested to appear for the verification of documents at these helpline centres. After verification of the documents, the candidates will be given an acknowledgment card for having verified the documents (green card), verification slip with the ‘secret key word’ and an instructions booklet.

Seat matrix

As per the official schedule, KEA will announce seat matrix for admissions to courses after 4 pm on June 13.

The option entry for seats will be kept open for candidates from 10 am on June 17 to
10 am on June 22.
