The Governor on Monday appointed five advocates as district judges through direct recruitment under Karnataka Judicial Service (Recruitment) Rules, 2004 and Amended Rules, 2011.
The five judges appointed are Vijayakumar Malasiddappa Anandashetti, K S Bharath Kumar, Ravi M R, Nerale Veerabhadraiah Bhavani and Nerale Veerabhadraiah Vijay.
The High Court of Karnataka has transferred officers of the Judicial Department in the cadre of District Judges, John Michael D’Cunha as the Registrar General of High Court and B A Patil as the Registrar (Vigilance) of the High Court.
