Civil society summit from tomorrow

Noted human rights activist Binayak Sen and Narmada Bachao Andolan leader Medha Patkar will deliver the key-note address at the inauguration of the summit on Sunday.

Issues to come up during the event include - Bills on organised crime, threat to farmers, governance and threat to civil society, electoral reforms, children and governance and emerging constitutional spaces. The summit will be held at UTC, Miller’s Road. Entry is only for those registered earlier.
