Youth dies during CISF recruitment

A 24-year-old youth attending the ongoing recruitment drive at Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) camp at Metagalli here, died on Saturday.

Subhash Chand, a native of Rajasthan, working at a hotel in Bengaluru, is the deceased.
According to Metagalli police, Chand collapsed soon after completing his run as a part of the drive. He had died due to low BP, according to the doctors who attended on him soon after he was rushed to a private hospital. Earlier, the CISF men on the spot had administered him first aid, the police added.

The drive began on May 25 and will be held till July 1, with various level of tests listed for the same. The schedule begins at 5 am in the day. The running session commences after the candidates pass the height criterion.
