<p>The police have arrested seven persons in separate operations in connection with burglary and chain-snatching cases.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The Kadugodi police arrested Anthony Raj (26), a native of Krishnagiri, Mrutyunjay (25) and Shivakumar (25), both residents of Anekal, and have recovered gold jewellery, silver utensils and two bikes, all worth Rs 20 lakh. <br /><br />In another operation, the Whitefield police have arrested four persons and have recovered stolen goods worth Rs 7 lakh. Venkatesh (27), Bharath, Anjan Kumar, both aged 24, and 19-year-old Kiran are the arrested. The arrests have solved six cases of chain-snatching reported in various police stations.<br /><br />A police officer said, “In both the arrests, the accused were picked up for questioning. They confessed to the crime during the questioning. Later on, the valuables were recovered.”</p>
