Foundation stone laid

 
Addressing the gathering after laying foundation stone for Kadur town Mescom divisional office building on Monday in Chikmagalur, he said that with this there will be no need to have power cuts.

Presiding over the programme Kadur MLA K M Krishnamurthy said that the divisional office will be built at an estimated cost of Rs 96 crore. “So far no farmers have staged protest outside mescom office. This shows that farmers are not facing power problems,” he said.

A demand to approve Bukkasagara and Antharghatta sub stations were kept forth.
Mescom Managing Director S Sumanth, Mescom Chief Engineer M Mahadeva, Town Municipal Council President Rajeshwari Puttaraju, Vice-President K G Lokesh and others were present.
