JOIN US Hyderabad-based Pharma major Dr Reddy’s Laboratories has its priorities clear, going towards the next year, according to company chairman Satish Reddy.
“Our priorities for next year include expanding our reach, accelerating launches and enhancing capabilities,” Satish Reddy said.
“In emerging markets, we are focused on building brands and also looking to selectively increase footprints in some parts, but cautiously. As far as India is concerned, we will focus on the areas in which we do well, and will cut down on less relevant areas,” Reddy added.
The company remains committed towards the Russian market.
“We remain committed to Russia. We have seen ups and downs in that market and we will adjust our strategies going forward,” Reddy said.
The Russian market, which is the largest for the company after the US, has been a concern for the company due to currency volatility.
