Deputy Commissioner Ajay Nagabhushan has lodged a complaint against Mahatma Gandhi Smaraka Trust President and former MP G Madegowda at East Police Station here on Wednesday.
It may be mentioned that Madegowda had taken him to task during a meeting convened to discuss drought with Revenue Minister V Srinivas Prasad on Tuesday.
He had demanded that the deputy commissioner be tranferred as he is acting according to the wishes of politicians, at the Travellers’ Bungalow here.
The DC has sought protection and suitable action against Madegowda.
