Adarsh, Palguna propel Bethany HS

Good bowling performance from Adarsh P (4/23) and Palguna M (3/29) propelled Bethany High School to a 33-run win over Florence Public School in the quarterfinals of the under-16 Group I, Division II cricket tournament for the KSCA Cup.

Batting first, Bethany rode on Abhinav M’s fighting 47 runs before being bowled out for 184 in 48.4 overs. Tarun C Reddy (3/13) and Jaswanth D (3/40) did the damage for the opposition.

In reply, Florence were bundled out for meagre 151 runs with Adarsh claiming four wickets while Palguna and Md Saif (3/35) taking three wickets apiece.

Ryan International School, Kundanahalli: 184/6 in 38 overs (Chirag C 55, Sanjay 34 n.o.; Pradyumna 3-25) (Due to wet pitch the start of the match was delayed and overs were reduced to 38 overs per side) bt Carmel School, B–70: 170/7 in 38 overs (Adithya TD 32, Viplav Vikram 46; Yatharath 2-28). 

Jain International Residential School: 199 all out in  50 overs (Vatsal Jain 37, Udbhav Gaurav 41, Vivek Seshadri 32, Aayush Kothari 27; Jasper 2-34, Ishar 2-55, Vikram 3-19, Arnav 2-22) bt Mallya Aditi International School: 84 all out in 37.5 overs (Satik Gunda 3-14).
