Tumkur Club teams win again
»Tumkur Club teams scored twin wins for the second successive day in the running at the BCI inter-club handicap snooker team tournament.
Tumkur Club ‘B’ scored a thrilling 2-1 win over BCI ‘D’ and the ‘A’ team posted a comfortable 2-0 win over KSBA.
However, BCI ‘C’ scored a comfortable 2-0 win over Catholic Club.

Universal score in tie-breaker
»Universal scored a 4-3 win, via-tiebreaker, against Bangalore Kickers in the Jagadeeshwarachar Memorial football tournament at the BDFA stadium on Saturday. Having failed to score in regulation time, the teams were left to fight it out in the tie-breaker. Sunder, Nagesh, Madesh and Franklin found the back of the net for Universal while Anup, Sandeep and Shankar scored for Bangalore Kickers. In another match, Young Muslims registered a 2-1 win over Minerva.

KSCA’s Level ‘A’ course for coaches
»The Karnataka State Cricket Association’s six-day Level ‘A’ course for coaches began on Saturday. The course, which ends on February 4, is being conducted by the National Cricket Academy’s B Arun and Dr Kinchal Suratwala. Among the 30 people signed up are former Karnataka left-arm spinner Anand Katti, apart from a fair few from the districts and a solitary woman candidate.

State bodybuilding meet from Feb 27
»The Karnataka Amateur Bodybuilders Association will be conducting the 57th State championships on February 27 and 28 at the Dr Rajkumar Kalakshetra, RTO Complex, Rajajinagar.
