The trust has been organising marriages in simple manner in Kaivara which is known as one of the famous pilgrimage centres in the State. In fact, the mass marriage ceremony which is being conducted every year by the Yoginareyana Trust in Kaivara, has been attaining popularity gradually.  It has been a boon especially for people from poor economical background.

The programme was started by former Dharmadhikari Late M S Ramaiah, whose sole purpose was to implement the words of Sri Yoginareyana Yatheendra, who supported simple marriages instead of lavish ceremonies which would cost unnecessarily.

Every year mass marriages are held in the month of May or June. Present Dharmadhikari Dr M R Jayaram has also been enthusiastically involved in the programme.

Recently, not only people from economically backward, but also people from the
middle-class have also been participating in the marriage held here.

Apart from Karnataka, couples from the bordering Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu have also been tying the knots in the ceremony held which shows the popularity of the ceremony being held here.

The trust provides managalasutra, toe-ring, saree, shirt, dhoti and others to the couples free of cost apart from providing free meals and stay.

The couples should register their names well in advance by providing suitable documents regarding their age, proof that they are not marrying for the second time and others.
