A 21-year-old drunk law student rammed his car into an autorickshaw and a two-wheeler on Mysuru Road flyover in the wee hours of Friday, injuring three persons.

The accused, Siddharth Jain has been arrested. He is a fourth semester law student at a City college and a resident of KHB Colony in Govindraj Nagar.

On Friday around 12.30 am, Jain was driving back with his friends from a party in Koramanagala. He was driving a friend’s car. He lost control of the car on the flyover and rammed into an autorickshaw and a two-wheeler. The car came to a halt after it hit a side wall, said the police.

Abdul Rehman and Mohammed Shariff on the two-wheeler and the autorickshaw driver Muneer Ahmed suffered severe injuries, said the police.

“The impact would have been higher if the incident occurred during peak hours. The injured were shifted to Nimhans and a private hospital where they are undergoing treatment. They are said to be out of danger,” said an officer.
