CeBIT India 2015,  the leading ICT trade fair organised by Hannover Milano Fairs India, will give primacy to digitisation and Internet of Things (IoT) initiatives.

In an interaction with Deccan Herald, Hannover Milano Fairs India Managing Director Mehul Lanvers-Shah on Wednesday said the event will unite the entire ecosystem players on digitisation and IoT space and take them to the MSME space of the country.

“Global economy and India are taking big initiatives as part of digitisation. Also, enterprises are moving and adopting technology in this regard. Again, IoT is making impact with the advent of smart cities and connected homes. We will create a network of business opportunities in these segments,” said Shah.

The event, to be held from October 29 to 31, 2015, will have the participation of more than 500 companies from 20 different countries. CeBIT is also partnering with FICCI, Manufacturers Association for Information Technology (MAIT), Consortium of Electronic Industries of Karnataka (CLIK),  and Federation of All India IT Association (FAIITA).
He said lots of ease of doing business is coming to India and states are also taking proactive steps.

“This year, CeBIT will have participation from 17 states which will showcase how they are nurturing innovation and technology and showcase technology product companies from their states,” he said.

Shah said in order to procure properly for your business there should be key three elements in place. “There should be a centre point market place with the right mix of products choices. There should be the right guidance from global authorities on technology and tech purchase. And there should be right understanding of where technology is going.  CeBIT 2015 is involved in all these three areas,” he said.
