The trial in the murder case of former RSS pracharak Sunil Joshi will begin from September 28. The Madhya Pradesh police have framed charges against eight people, including Sadhvi Pragya Thakur, in the Sunil Joshi murder case.

Eight persons have been made accused in the case. The trial in the case will begin from September 28, G Mongi, public prosecutor, told media persons.

The eight accused made in the case were – Sadhvi Pragya Thakur, Lokesh Sharma, Anand Raj Kataria, Rajendra Choudhary, Harshad Solanki, Vasudev Parmar, Jitendra Sharma and Ramcharan Patel.

Joshi was shot dead on December 29, 2007 in Chunakhadan locality in Dewas town of Madhya Pradesh. In its charge sheet filed in March 2011, the Dewas district police said Pragya Thakur was the key accused who galvanised others to execute the plan to kill Joshi.
However, not satisfied with the ruling saffron government’s probe, the NIA, under the regime of UPA government in April 2011, forcibly took over the case.
