<p>The Karnataka Sheep and Wool Development Corporation (KSWDC) would soon become a federation on the lines of Karnataka Milk Federation, in keeping with the times,said KSWDC Chairman Pandit Rao Chidri.<br /><br /></p>.<p>“ The aim of creating the federation is to eliminate middlemen and ensure supply of quality meat, wool and milk. We want to create centres providing a platform for interaction between buyers and sellers.<br /><br />The federation will help create a brand for milk, wool and mutton,” Chidri said here on Monday. He was addressing a press meet in the City. Chidri said that the Corporation had so far constituted 600 co-operative societies of wool and sheep rearers.<br /><br />The Karnataka Sheep and Wool Development Corporation would soon launch mobile clinics for sheep and goat in 18 districts of Karnataka under the first phase, he added.</p>
