World quality commitment award for Mangaluru airport

The Mangaluru lnternational Airport (MIA) has been selected for “The World Quality Commitment” (WQC) award. It would be presented to the airport authorities in Paris, France, on October 25.

The decision to present the award is the result of research and analysis carried out through quality hunters, leaders, entrepreneurs and experts in quality, directed by Business lnitiative Directions (BlD), to recognise the contributions of the Mangaluru lnternational Airport in terms of leadership, quality and excellence.

The WQC Selection Committee selected the MIA for the award in the gold category, based on the criteria like – total quality management, QC 100 principles, ISO 9000, customer satisfaction and business results.

The lnternational WQC Convention would be held in Paris on October 24 and 25. The award is sponsored by 26 lmarpress Media publications, France.
