The Indian ODI cricket captain and the skipper of the suspended IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK), M S Dhoni and Senior BJP leader Subramanian Swamy met with ICC Chairman N Srinivasan at his Boat Club residence on Friday.

Sources close to Srinivasan said the discussion was about the issue pertaining to the two-year suspension imposed on CSK. Swamy had already moved the Madras High Court challenging suspension.

Srinivasan also discussed the case with Swamy during the 45-minute meeting.
The meeting assumes significance as there has been a lot of speculation about the future of the players who played for CSK and Rajasthan Royals, which is also under suspension. The BCCI is preparing to float tenders for two new IPL teams for 2016 and 2017 editions.

Dhoni, who was clad in the Indian cricket team's blue shirt, came to Srinivasan's residence at around 10.15 am. After Dhoni left the place, Swamy came to Srinivasan's residence.

“There is a conspiracy in imposing a ban on CSK”, Swamy told reporters. Swamy, in his petition, alleged former IPL boss Lalit Modi had 'influenced' the course of events that culminated in the action against the two 'star teams' of IPL.
