KRV men stage stir to urge Gowda's release

The KRV group led by its District President Tegur Jagadish blocked the road near KSRTC bus stand. Jagadish urged that the State government should not allow the “anti-Kannada group” to hold any conventions in the State.

The protest caused inconvenience to thee vehicular movement. Despite the plea of the police to make way for proper traffic, the protesters continued their dharna on the road.

Police arrested seven members including Tegur Jagadish, Dineshraj Urs, Kempanahalli Ashok and Prasad Amin. They were released later.
