Benedict's all-round show powers Vikram CC home

 A solid all-round performance from Benedict Raj gave Vikram Cricket Club a resounding eight-wicket victory over Indiranagar Cricketers in the KSCA Group I, Division IV league cum knockout tournament for the Metro Shield here.

Indiranagar Cricketers, batting first, were bowled out for a paltry 91 in 33.4 overs thanks to Benedict’s heroics (5/13) with the ball. He was well supported by Riyaz R who picked up 2/20.

With a small target of 92 to chase, Vikram CC strolled home in 18.3 overs losing just the two wickets in the process. Benedict contributed with the bat as well as he top scored for his side scoring 32. 

In another match, Visveswarapuram CC (2) defeated Shanthinagar Cricketers by 43 runs.

Dolphins Cricket Club: 181 all out in 48 overs (Dheemanth 42, Meezan 31, Vikram PS 25; Darshan 2-24, Harsha S 2-32, Karan 2-41, Nazir 3-36) lt to Crescents Cricket Club (1): 73/4 in 16.5 overs (Krishna 2-12) (Target reduced to 73 runs in 20 overs due to rain).
