Lakshman triumphs

 ML Lakshman completed a grand double, annexing the State-ranking junior snooker title after topping the semifinal league that concluded here on Saturday.

Lakshman, who won the the junior billiards title as well, will represent Karnataka along with Shaik Najeeb at the National Championships due to be held in Indore next January.
Mohammad Asif and Yash Kinger were unfortunate to miss out as they placed third and fourth in the final standings.

Results: Semifinal league: Yash Kinger bt Asif Altaf 3-1; ML Lakshman bt Shaik Najeeb 3-0; Asif Altaf bt ML Lakshman 3-1; Shaik Najeeb bt Yash Kinger 3-2; ML Lakshman bt Yash Kinger 2-0; Shaik Najeeb bt Asof Altaf 3-2.
