Land worth Rs 45 cr recovered

During an anti-encroachment drive on Saturday, officers recovered little more than 26 acres of government land worth Rs 45 crore .

They are: 4.27 acres of land (Survey No. 32) located in Bettenagere village, Dasanapura of Bengaluru North, 7.18 acres of land (Survey No. 100) in Yelahanka and 0.18 acres of land (Survey No. 55) in Bellagalli village, while three encroached lakes spread over 5.11 acres (Survey No. 11) in Chikkabanahalli village of Vidarahalli, 1.30 acres (Survey No. 130) in Bilishivale village, 0.10 acres (Survey No. 51) in Vibhoothipura of Bengaluru East and 1.04 acres of land located in Varthur were recovered by officers.
