Star players Manjeet Chillar, Ajay Thakur and Dharmaraj Cheralathan have shifted allegiance from Bengaluru Bulls for the third season of Pro Kabaddi League, which is set to get underway in January next year.

Chillar, who guided the Bulls to the finals of the second season earlier this year and bagged the ‘Most Valuable Player’ of the tournament award, has moved to Puneri Paltan. Thakur, who was the most dependable raider for the Bengaluru unit in two seasons, will also don the Pune colours. Cheralathan will play for Telugu Titans.

Including the trio, a total of 20 players have moved base from their previous teams even as the league, which features eight franchises, enters the last stage of the squad finalisation.
At the same time, the teams have also retained some top players like Anup Kumar (U Mumba), Kashiling Adake (Dabang Delhi), Ravinder Pahal (Dabang Delhi), Rahul Chaudhari (Telugu Titans), Sukesh Hegde (Telugu Titans), Jan Kun Lee (Bengal Warriors), Sandeep Narwal (Patna Pirates), Tae Deok Eom (Patna Pirates).
