Ton-up Nishant spurs Jawans CC

Riding on a century from Nishant (114 n.o.) Jawans Cricket Club notched up a seven-wicket win over Young Pioneer Cricket Club in their YS Ramaswamy memorial cricket tournament here.

Rakesh (61) led Young Pioneer’s charge as they made 231 all out in 46 overs. Vinod (43) and Sunil (49) played supporting roles.

Nishant spearheaded Jawans’ chase and with support from Taha (56), helping his team overhaul the total in the 30th over.
