'Kejri should have checked Rajender's credentials'

A day after CBI raids in Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal's secretariat aimed against senior bureaucrat Rajender Kumar, anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare on Wednesday said the CM should have checked the credentials before appointing Kumar as his principal secretary.

“Kejriwal should have done a background check on Rajender and found out details about him,” he said, indicating that the CM could have avoided the mess.

“The raids pertain to an incident that has not happened during his tenure,” he said.
