A team of officials, led by Mysuru City Corporation Commissioner C G Betsurmath, was inspecting the civil works near the now defunct Lansdowne Building, opposite the city bus stand, it was noticed that roadside vendors had encroached upon footpaths, inconveniencing pedestrians. <br /><br />When the vendors were questioned, Puttaraju who felt irked, abused the officials. A Mysuru City Corporation official has lodged a complaint at Devaraja police station.<br /></p>
