Students who have completed PUC with PCMB combination or its equivalent can apply for the course.
The total intake is 42 for Karnataka students while 23 per cent of the seats are reserved for children of agriculturalists/ fishermen. In addition, 15 per cent seats are reserved for nomination from Govt of India and 5 per cent for foreign nationals/ NRIs/ NRI sponsored candidates and one seat for Kashmiri migrants. Payment seats are also available from this academic year onwards at the rate of Rs 30,000 per annum. The total fee for the course is Rs 45,000 for general merit students while it is only 50 per cent for SC/ST candidates.
The application forms will be available till June 10 and the last date for application is June 20.
