Big victory for National Cricketers

Gaurav stars in 186-run win over Science College

An all-round show from Gaurav propelled National Cricketers to a massive 186-run victory over Government Science College in the KSCA Group I, Division V league-cum-knockout tournament for the JB Mallaradhya Shield here.

Riding on Gaurav’s (100) century and handy knocks from Haseeb (44), Yaseer (37) and Suresh (28), National Cricketers posted 286 all out in 47.5 overs. Vinay, with figures of 4/65, was the wrecker-in-chief for Government Science College while Achinanda (2/30) and Abhishek (2/9) also took two wickets each.

In response, Government Science College were bundled out for 100 in 24.3 overs, with only Ravi Raj managing to hit 39 runs. Navneeth (4/18) did most of the damage for the winners while Gaurav (3/7)  plucked three wicket.
