JOIN USUber will organise ‘UberChallenge,’ a city-wide competition for college students, in Mangaluru and Mysuru on January 29.
A press release from the cab aggregator said the event will be held at the Verda Saffron, the hospitality partner for UberChallenge. The event will have action packed three rounds.
The first two rounds involve a creative campaign to generate a buzz about Uber in the local market. Uber will be tracking and updating teams on their progress on a daily leaderboard.
Uber said more than 1,500 students have signed up for the event. The last round for the shortlisted candidates will be an interview with the Uber India team for an exciting internship.
The finalists also stand a chance to win Uber credits and Uber merchandise, the press release said. To participate, the students must sign up at—t.uber.com-/UCForm.
