Nucleus Satellite Comm to setup facility in TN

Nucleus Satellite Communications (Madras) Private Limited, a domestic manufacturer of Direct-to-Home (DTH) dish antenna, on Friday announced that it would set up its production unit in Sri City here, at an investment of Rs 25 crore.

The production centre, which is coming up in an area of eight acres, is expected to be ready by this August will produce three kinds of dish antennae — of 45 cm, 60 cm and 100 cm diameter. The unit will employ about 200 people.

Company CEO V Raman said that selling point (USP) of Sri City is  its world class Infrastructure ‘under one Roof.’

“Besides, our investment in Sri city was influenced by the vibrant industrial policy of Andhra Pradesh under the dynamic leadership of N Chandrababu Naidu,” he said.
