Yes, leading magazine 'The Lady', which has compiled the list of 125 of the most "intelligent, empowered and inspirational" women of today to celebrate its 125th year, has put the British Monarch at the top.
The distinguished list draws from a range of spheres including business, food, art, fashion, film, sport and royalty.
Among others who made it to the list include Duchess of Cornwall, American 'Vogue' Editor Anna Wintour, celebrity TV chef Nigella Lawson, first female House of Commons Speaker Baroness Betty Boothroyd and Gurkhas champion Joanna Lumley, 'The Daily Telegraph' reported.
The women were selected by a panel of judges including 'magazine editor Rachel Johnson.

"A distinguished panel at 'The Lady' and beyond put their heads together and after many weeks of lively, free and frank (ie vicious) argument settled on the 125 women we regard as 'Ladies of Today'.

"This is not a scientific list, nor are these your usual run of females: we haven't chosen them for their looks /vital statistics/reality TV careers, but because we think these are women who think not 'what can I get out of this?' but 'what can I put in?'," Johnson said.
