Parking ban for T20 World Cup matches

The traffic police have imposed a ban on parking of vehicles in view of the T-20 World Cup matches scheduled on March 20, 21 and 23 in the City.

Parking will be banned on the following stretches from 2 pm to 11.30 pm: Both sides of Queen’s Road between CTO Circle and Queen’s Circle; both sides of Mahatma Gandhi Road between Anil Kumble Circle and Queen’s Circle; Link Road between Mahatma Gandhi Road and Cubbon Road; Raj Bhavan Road, T Chowdiah Road and Race Course Road; both adjoining roads of the stadium; both the sides on Central Street; between BRV Circle and Dickenson Road Junction; Kamaraj Road and Dickenson Road Junction; SBI Circle and Asirvadam Circle; Mahatma Gandhi Road and Madras Bank Road up to Residency Road; inside Cubbon Park on King’s Road; in front of Press Club; Kasturba Road from Queen’s Circle to Hudson Circle and on Grant Road from Siddalingaiah Circle to RRMR Circle; from Queen’s Circle till Grant Road Junction on Lavelle Road; from Siddalingaiah Circle till Bishop Cotton Girls’ School on Vittal Mallya Road.

Parking facility will be provided from 2 pm to 11 pm at the following locations: St Joseph Indian High School grounds and St Joseph Boys’ School; first floor of Shivajinagar bus stand; St Mark’s Cathedral and Bowring Institute.

Parking for vehicles of the police and other staff deployed on security duty will be provided in front of the KGID building.
