A 24-year-old employee of a real estate firm was killed on the spot after a KSRTC bus knocked him down on the elevated flyover in Peenya on Sunday night.
The deceased was identified as Hanumantharaju, a resident of KG Lakkenahalli, Dasanapura hobli, Bengaluru North.
According to the police, the accident took place at 10.15 pm when the victim was riding on his bike back to his house. The KSRTC bus driver Kumar, 45, drove the bus recklessly and knocked down the two-wheeler.
Comes under the wheel
Hanumantharaju was tossed up in the air, landed on the road and came under the rear wheel of the bus.
He died on the spot due to severe injuries, said the police who arrested Kumar and seized the bus.
