JOIN USA man stabbed his girlfriend for rejecting his marriage proposal in the town.
According to police, Ravi and a girl were in love for the past several years. On Monday, Ravi is said to have started a discussion on marriage, when the girl allegedly turned down his proposal. A wordy duel ensued between the duo, and Ravi, in a fit of rage, is said to have stabbed her with a knife.
The severely injured girl was rushed to the town hospital by her parents. First aid was provided there and the girl was shifted to K R Hospital in Mysuru as per the doctors’ advice.
Sub-Inspector Ayyana Gowda visited the spot. When the police asked her parents to lodge a complaint, they were said to have been reluctant. Hence, no complaint has been lodged so far. Ravi is said to be absconding.
