Stir affects CET students

Last Updated 02 June 2016, 19:57 IST

Students looking to get their documents attested before the CET counselling were disappointed on Thursday as most government offices remained closed as the staff went on strike.

Students appearing for CET counselling need to get their provisional marks cards attested by an officer of the special rank before the document verification begins.

Meanwhile, Ramegowda, director, DPUE, said they were looking to finish revaluation of PUC answer scripts  so that the CET admission process wasn’t affected.

“We are yet to get a scanned copy, though we applied on May 25. There was nobody in the DPUE office to listen to our grievances,” said Prajna, a parent of a student who has applied for revaluation of Biology answer script.
