<p> School Development and Monitoring Committee (SDMC) Forum has recommended that CCTV cameras be installed in all government schools keeping the interest of students in mind. <br /><br /></p>.<p>A list of 16 recommendations have been put forth by the committee following a workshop on development of government on par with the other institutes. <br /><br />‘Withdraw circular’<br /><br />They have sought that the government take back the circular that was issued on May 21 pertaining to the closure of government schools. <br /><br />Regarding the same, the committee will submit a memorandum to the chief minister. <br />They have also recommended that lower primary schools be protected at the ward-level and pre-primary schools be started on the lower primary school campus.<br /><br />Non-teaching faculty <br /><br />To ensure quality education to students, they have sought that the head master, craft teacher, music and physical education teachers not be counted as actual teaching faculty.<br /><br /><br /></p>
