This is exactly what one can experience when they visit ‘Sway’, a new addition to the list of restaurants in the city. Situated in the busy locality of Kalyan Nagar, this rooftop cafe is a great place to hang out at with friends or colleagues after a long day at work.
The menu is a mix of salads, Continental and Italian food and has been curated by chef Gurudath Shivapooja. “I have tried to give a twist to the menu and space to different cuisines. Though there are both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, the most loved among our customers is the ribs. We also have a centralised bakery where all our baked items are prepared fresh,” he details.
One can munch on the ‘chicken chip nachos’ or ask for ‘sliders’ (available in mutton, pork and chicken). The ‘saganaki prawns’ are also something to look forward to. The starters are great for a quick bite and are quite filling. If you are lucky enough, you might also get a chance to try their ‘day’s special’, like the ‘chicken bao’, which is soft, succulent and melts in the mouth.
However, if you want to have something heavy, you can go for a pizza, a wholesome risotto or a plate of pasta. To complete your appetising meal, treat your sweet tooth to a ‘chocolate and walnut brownie’, fresh out of the oven and served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
