Md Masiuddin Musha (25), who hails from Labhpur in Birbhum district of Bengal, was found with incriminating documents and firearms, claimed officials.

Musha was arrested at Burdwan station after Kolkata Police tipped off Government Railway Police (GRP). He was travelling from Howrah on board Vishwa Bharati Fast Passenger to Bolpur and was most likely on his way home. He had come from Chennai on Monday evening and boarded the Bolpur-bound train.

Officials said that GRP initially detained Musha at Burdwan station but later the local police arrested him and handed him over to the CID. The GRP found a sharp cleaver and an improvised firearm, along with two live cartridges, in his possession. Investigators are trying to determine whether he planned to attack passengers on board the running train. Sources said that Musha was under scanner of intelligence agencies for some time.
