General admission policy on the anvil

Speaking at the inauguration of ‘Vikas Sankalp Utsav,’ the minister said that Chief Minister Yeddyurappa has directed him to work on a general admission policy, and the new system for admission will come into effect from the next year, he added.

Students have complained that they have to spend thousands of rupees on buying applications for colleges. Hence, the Government wants to put an end to their woes, the minister said.

But, Limbavali did not specify whether the new policy applies to pre-university courses or under graduate courses.
